Waiting for Things to Work Themselves Out Sucks

OK... so the experiment isn't going quite as well as expected. It was one thing when Mizzou only dropped three spots after losing to Oklahoma State last week. After all, Oklahoma State was undefeated. But this week, after getting dismantled by Texas, Mizzou actually rose in the rankings. Juh? I guess it pays to A) blow out weaker opponents, who get their act together much later in the season and B) only lose to undefeated teams.

I'm starting to lean toward a linear scale of ranking rather than exponential.
